Having finished reading Thucydides in the summer of 2025, I thought it a good course of action to combine some of my thoughts here. 

   I won’t claim that I made a study of the historic events surrounding the period of c. 430-400 BCE. My knowldge only extends to what Thucidydes offered me through his work and some other fragments of information that I stumbled upon. 

   Taking a glimpse into the 20th and the 21st centuries, it is nigh impossible to miss how outstanding the similarities between our times and the eclipse of the Classical era are. I must say
